Project Cannabis and Evergreen Distribution announce new partnership with 25/7 Productions and NETFLIX

Evergreen Distribution and parent company Project Cannabis are proud to announce they’re the exclusive cannabis provider for the new NETFLIX series Cooked with Cannabis, produced by 25/7 Productions. The show features chefs competing for a $10,000 weekly prize hosted by singer Kelis and mega chef Leather Storrs alongside celebrity judges from the “Best Buds Table” including Too Short, Michael Voltaggio, Nate Robinson, Ricki Lake, John Salley and celebrities from television, film, comedy, professional sports and more.

“We were stoked to be selected as the exclusive cannabis provider for this hilarious and informative cannabis cooking show” commented Evergreen Distribution and Project Cannabis Chief Operating Officer Cameron Smith.

“The producers searched for the finest cannabis in California and that’s exactly what they found in our CLASSIX and 777 brands, proudly and painstakingly grown by our award-winning cultivation team right here in Los Angeles. Our High Times gold cup winning flower is the perfect pairing for some of the most innovative and delicious appetizers, main courses and deserts you have ever seen on NETFLIX and we can’t wait for you to see the show.

We spent countless hours with our Director of Cultivation Dave Cali and his team curating our most fragrant and flavorful cannabis flower to give the competing chefs a wide array of aromatic and flavor profiles to complement their creations and infuse their dishes with the perfect symphony of culinary flavor notes. The cast is incredible and the Best Buds are hilarious and willing to try just about anything during each episode. I couldn’t be prouder of my team and the sensational programming crafted by the producers at 25/7 Productions” said Smith.

In keeping with the theme of the show, the world premiere airs on NETFLIX on 4/20 2020…go figure.
